Hi, I’m David Drysdale and have over 20 years experience in the industry with a trade qualification in horticulture.

My passion is growing top quality advanced trees for both domestic and commercial landscapes. Our main aim is to grow the best advanced trees and shrubs possible and save you money, whilst only selling you the best plants for your garden.

We are a medium sized family business with a community focus, employing local people.

I currently employ ten staff and we are constantly growing the business to meet local demand for quality advanced trees and shrubs, as well as our ever expanding 140mm range of shrubs and grasses.

All of our staff are friendly, and service oriented with an excellent knowledge of the industry. Our staff have come from a range of industries including Fruit production, Cut flower production, and Street tree placement as well as having a keen knowledge of Native, Ornamental and Cottage gardens.

Our passion is to provide you with excellent customer service, and the right advice to make your garden easy to maintain and last the distance.

We’re also an active member of the Nursery & Garden Industry Australia (NGIA), and pride ourselves on growing our plants to high industry standards.

Why our plants are grown tough!

Our nursery is situated on 2.5 acres in the foothills of the Wellington Range, at an elevation of 305m above sea level and very open and exposed to strong winds. Our plants are grown in temperatures 2-3 degrees cooler every day than plants grown in Hobart, thus meaning when you take your plants home, it’s less of a shock to them whether you live in a warmer or cooler place which means the plants will settle in quicker and grow faster.
